Meet-Up Details

Hi everyone!

From websites to mobile apps to branding and artwork, colour is critical. To create effective designs, UI designers should have a thorough understanding of the aesthetics of colours, and how to apply colour theory in UI design. As a designer, this helps in being able to create visually appealing and harmonious designs that align with the brand's identity and goals.

We are excited to have Amith Ramesh, UI Designer who will be talking to us about the aesthetics of colour in UI design.

Hi, That was a nice session by Amith Ramesh.
The question “How would you test your color palette” was interesting.
I would like to hear your different approaches in this case besides user feedback, expert opinions, grey screen overlays, or accessibility contrast checks.

Please log in or join us to post comments in the discussion.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
