Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF London,

let's meet up in person over beers/wine/soft drinks!

We have a table booked - look for the IxDF logo on a paper or ask for a table booked under Natalia (UK IxDF Leader) name.

Let's chit chat in an informal setting and discuss any problems and dilemmas we might be facing. Whether it's to do with the craft of UX specifically or a people problem with stakeholders, here's a non-judgemental forum to meet each other and share stories and methods to get over your problems.

Also, would be great to discuss what you expect from IxDF London Community. We always want to improve how we organise meet-ups and what topics we discuss.

See you soon,
Julz

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Beers, Wine & your UX Problems! held on Aug 20, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hello all! Unfortunately I can't come this time. See you at the next one!

Hi Sabrina,
Thank you for the update, hope to see you on our next meet-up.

It's a shame, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time due to childcare. But if there's ever a meet-up on a Friday - I'm there!

Hi Famela,

Sorry that you cannot make it this time, but big thanks for letting us know about your preferred day.

We are currently trying to organise IDF London Community events (both online and offline) to be more regular and we are open to suggestions of which days would work best for majority.

We will keep your comment about Friday and see what we can organise.

thank you,
Julia

Hi everyone,

Hope you don't mind a total newbie in your get together, as I've just tapped into the great world of UX design.

Have a great evening.

Hi Madalina,

We welcome everyone. UX is always evolving, that sometimes we all feel newbies at one stage or another. :)

See you next week,
Julia

Hi!

Thank you very much for organizing this meetup! I'm new to UX Desing as well, and I'm very excited about this event. Do we have the location and time, yet?

Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Beatriz

Hi Beatriz,

The location and time is on the event page (above). Please do let me know if something doesn't work right, so we can pass it onto IDF developers.

Just in case, putting the information also here:

Brewdog: 21 Great Tower St London EC3R 5AR
Time from 18:00 - 20:00.

We do have a table booked and if people want to stay longer, you can.

hey guys, is there any agenda or it's just meet & chat?

Hi Alex,

For this meet-up we are keeping just meet&chat. The aim is to get to know each other a bit and maybe discuss any UX questions / problems we have.

Kind regards,
Julia

Hello,

I'm also new to the IxDF and would have loved to come to this meet up, but unfortunately I can't this time.

Have fun tonight! and look forward to meeting you all in the near future :)

Natalia

Sorry to say it, but won't be able to make it tonight. Work always gets in the way of fun and beer. Hope to make the next one.

What's the pub name please?

Hello, I live in Budapest, Hungary,

but will spend 2 days in London in September or October and would be happy to join the next London IxDF meetup. Is there already a fixed date?

I try to manager my travel to be there.

We will have a Budapest IxDF meetup tomorrow.

If anyone feels like joining, might get here in Time.

It would be great to keep in touch!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
