Meetup Details

Hey IDxF Calgary folks, if you haven’t heard “Calgary UX” community, it’s time to check it out!

We are hosting a recurring in-person event in a cozy cafe. Join us to meet new people, get to know each other , meet future collaborators and build a strong UX community together.

These are our guiding principles for the night and the community.

Step 1: Build trust, be kind.
Develop connections based on personal and professional trust. Kindness is at the core of every interaction.

Step 2: Create creative spaces
Create and maintain a safe space for deep-focused conversations, creative confidence and experimentation.

Step 3: Active collaboration
Perform short-term action plans with precise results in mind. We are all volunteers, be very transparent about how much time and energy you are willing and capable to commit.

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
