Hi all! 

Thank you for your interest in my first virtual IxDF Meetup coming up tonight. Whilst it is going to be a brief session,

When it comes to navigating a new industry, people with a different background even though they most of the time possess the greatest and most genuine motivation, often feel alone in the path. This Meetup is to exchange thoughts and ideas on how the path of newcomers should be designed for a successful transition.

This very short meeting will mean a lot, remember little is more. Kindly design your contribution in the most succinct way.

Agenda:

8:00 pm - members arrival & greeting

8:05 pm - Introduction to the meeting

8:10 pm - Members give a brief talked about their background & transition process into UX

8: 25pm - Appreciation & take home message.

Short bio:

I am a scientist-turned-trainee UX-Designer. I have been commended for my creativity, positive attitude, self-criticism, and growth mindset. I am inquisitive, challenging old thoughts and methods of doing things with a view to simplifying how products are made and how they are used, improving the purpose for which they are made, and making them fit for emerging situations.
