Meetup Details

Hi IxDF Chicago, let’s meet up and network over coffee! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It’s going to be an informal, cozy meetup with fellow designers! I also wanted to make this meetup focused on humanitarian issues we are facing globally today and brainstorm technical solutions.

List of topics I wanted to chat about:

  1. Humanitarian Hackathons

  2. Humanity-centered design to solve the world’s most pressing issues.

  3. Organizations or design groups to join to design for positive change.

  4. Areas you like to design for (ex. combating human trafficking, biotech, wildlife, medical, environmental, refugee crisis, etc.) and how do we tackle these issues as UX professionals?

If we enjoy this discussion, I thought about making it into a recurring event, once in three months or so, creating a group to focus on this topic, eventually, we can pick a place we’d like to meet at, it could be my place or a bar we like. Let’s talk about all of this on Saturday!

Hi! I did not realize it had two dates. It only shows November 12th for me. To give you more time due to confusion, I am moving it to next week, Nov 19th, same time. I am sorry, this is my first time organizing this. I will be adding the location momentarily!
