4 options I have on my Google Maps list, in the downtown core, or just east of downtown core. Each name is hyperlinked to the url on Google Maps.

Each I think would offer what we would need.

Thank you Adam for the suggestions and convenient links! If anyone has any other suggestions or a preference in the ones Adam has provided please comment! I’d like to set on a place by Wednesday!

Just a side note - the timings for our meetup are such that a number of cafes will shut before then so please keep that in mind :)

Oh no Wendy, maybe stop by for a bit if possible or please join when we have another group meetup!

Unfortunately, Ciclo Espresso, Incognito and Cafe Deux Soleils shut before 7PM.

A suggestion I got was Starbucks Reserve Bar 700 W Pender Street Vancouver, it’s conveniently located, large enough and open till 8PM! I’m tentatively putting that down as the location for the meetup. Please comment by today if you have any other location in mind!

Ah good catch Hamza! I keep getting this wrong since COVID, so many businesses close so much earlier now, I did not think to check.

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
