Hi IxDF Barcelona!

I’m Mike, a digital designer/photographer who’s recently discovered the fascinating field of UX design.

It would be great to meet other fellow designers who may be already be working in the field and would like to share their own experience/tips, as well as others who are simply just starting out like myself.
I think most of us could benefit something from it by sharing UX design insights and resources or just chat about anything else UX/design related, really :)

It’s going to be an informal and chilled meet up over coffee.

That’s great. Thanks for showing interest! I am quite flexible to re-arrange the time/day for that week. How about Monday 16th or Wednesday 18th instead at 16.30?

Let me know how that sounds and I could change to either of those days. In the meantime will wait for additional members who may be interested in joining :)

Looking forward to tomorrow’s UX meet-up!

As mentioned, it will be informal and chilled with no strict agenda to follow on this occasion. The idea is just to introduce ourselves and share a bit of what we’re doing in the world of UX/design, connect with other fellow designers, see what positive and interesting tips, learnings and/or connections we can leave with… whilst enjoying a good cup of coffee :)

Based on tomorrow’s response, we can then collect feedback and suggest ideas for more structured/themed future meet-ups.

Thanks to those few who made it this morning.

Only a couple of people attended, however was still great to connect and exchange our stories/experiences. Hopefully more people will be able to join the next ones!

Hope you are well.

I was hoping to organize a little meet up for today, however as I am travelling tomorrow I’m now finding it a bit difficult and unrealistic with time.

I will be away for a couple of weeks, back in early September, and would definitely look forward to organizing something/meet you when am back!

Of course, if anything is up for organizing something in the meantime while I am away feel free to go ahead :)

For this first meet up that happened last week I only publicized here on the IDF platform.

However as an organizer, once you do create an event you should then also receive an email with some tips from the IDF community on how to best carry that forward (ie. also recommending to publicize through other channels like FB or LI too, for example).
