Meetup Details

Hello IxDF Boston!

Our next IxDF community meetup will be on Monday, June 24.

These are cozy, informal events which are excellent opportunities to network with people in our local community. These attract a wide range of designers, researchers, and those who are just starting out in UX.

Based on suggestions at a past events, we are going to add an informal workshopping component to the meetup (I like to think of it as “show and tell”). We'll have opportunities for folks to informally share their design work and solicit feedback from the group. If you're interested in sharing, sign up here.

Location: Capital One Café - Back Bay
799 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116
We'll be in the community room.

Date & Time: Monday, June 24 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

Agenda:

  • Welcome & Introduction
  • Design Show and Tell
  • Group discussion (learning UX, finding UX work, and design trends and tools)
  • Networking & Chatting

Questions? Suggestions? Please feel free to post in the discussion board or reach out to me directly (kevin@mcgowan.design).

Meetup attendees

IxDF Members show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking the “Attend this meetup” button.

IxDF Members might also be bringing their non-member friends to the meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
