Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Oslo, let's meet up and network over coffee! I’m just starting out on this UX journey . Would love to get together for a coffee (or tea) to share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It's going to be an informal, cozy meet-up with fellow designers!

Meet-Up Conversation

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Creative Caffeine held on Jun 10, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi all!

That took a little detective work as Starbucks Torggata doesn’t list their number on the Starbucks website! :) However, I was able to reach them through the main office and they confirmed that they will be open on 10 June.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Thanks for checking in with them.

Hi, I just realised this is a public holiday, and I will not be in Oslo at the time. Have a great meet-up everyone - I will join you another time!

Looking forward to meeting you next time.

Hi Guys! I am living in Bergen, but I really interresting to meet all of you. My question is, why not we do somemeet in Bergen at Media City Bergen? NCELab, so we can design have a coffe together and discussion about the green boat, or shiping for the future?

Hi Candida! Hope someone reaches out to you about meeting up in Bergen. Will let you know if I make it out that way and maybe we could have a coffee.

Hi everyone! I can't make it this time. Just realized that the date is a public holiday, kindergardens aren't working so I'm with my daughter that day. Maybe it's worth to avoid making plans on holidays next time. Have fun and a great meetup!

Hi Emese! Thanks for the feedback. When I scheduled the meeting I didn’t realize it was a holiday and since people said they could come, I didn’t want to interrupt plans. I hope to see you next time.

Hi everyone!

Despite Starbucks assuring me that they would be open this morning, I arrived here early and they are closed. I’m so sorry.

I will be across the street at Cafe Provence in case anyone shows up.

Again, please accept my apologies!

Juli

Hi all!

Starbucks staff has arrived and will be opening at 9 am. We’re back on. Sorry for the mix up. Hope to see you all soon.

Hi everyone! I’m stuck in traffic on the way back from holiday and I can’t make it to Starbucks today. Sorry for the late heads up.

No worries. Travel safe

I have unfortunately fallen ill. Will stay at home. Enjoy your morning coffee.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you. I'm getting there, was hoping to be fresh enough for coffee this morning though.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
