Meetup Details

Hi IxDF San Jose, let’s meet online to support you through the maintenance of your UX portfolio!

Here’s a general agenda outline, and please make sure to register through Lu.ma so that you will get all of the relevant information for this event.

Agenda:

​1. Meet other community members in UX and design

​2. Swap portfolios for feedback using the "Feedforward" method

​3. Practice verbally presenting your portfolio

​3. Share learnings as a group

Also note that we will be using an app called Butter (butter.us) to manage for breakout rooms. When you sign up, you should receive instructions and a reminder to test your tech before joining us.

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
