Speakers:

Jason Demetillo
With 10+ years of experience working in New York City to San Francisco and now Singapore, Jay Demetillo has almost seen it all in the design world. Jay has worked with Twitter, Pinterest, Yahoo, and now Grab. Jay is an adjunct professor at CCA in San Francisco and has taught/spoken in China for ACG. He's also worked on notable projects such as the Bay Lights, Gaspar Brasserie, San Francisco's Park System SFPark, and recently redesigned GrabFood. Most recently, his journey has taken him from designing within the Western world ideals to now learning and adapting to Southeast Asia's culture and technology. Jay will share his learnings, his struggles, and his process in designing for Southeast Asia in times like this.

Camille Gribbons
A product designer at Booking.com currently working on payments - however, before joining payments, she worked on a localized product for Southeast Asia called BookingLokal, Booking.com's domestic travel app for Indonesia. During her time on BookingLokal, Camille saw first-hand how different design was between eastern and western cultures. Outside of work, Camille loves to play Dungeons and Dragons as both a player and dungeon master. Fun fact: Camille is a classically trained singer and originally intended on pursuing her musical theatre dreams before settling into design.

Just sign up for the event, looking forward for the discussion.

Also, I looked up about adaptability ideation deck 1:1 by the process, may you elaborate more about the event? and how can we participate? Thank you!!

Hey Andriana.. Adaptability Card Desk is a deck i created after a friend referred me to Bloomberg BusinessWeek 2020, it triggered me to combine what I read into a questions deck to help product/service to rethink their business to brace for a new market mindset.

Adaptability Cards are designed to help you find different ways of adapting and growing your product/services in a post-crisis world.

This will inspire you to explore different ways of making your business/product/service feasible or expanding it with other revenue streams. You can use it in most business categories. “ how could we rethink the business in a new world scenario? ”

this is a 1:1 session you can request me if you need any help for this deck, you can send me your email and i can send you the deck, and only if you need help with leveraging with the deck, you can book a session with me :)

Dear Sonya Seddarasan

That's really thoughtful, I'd love to learn more about the adaptability card and see how I can elaborate. I remember that I read your post about this in medium and Linkedin profile couple days ago.
