Hello designers!

My name is Geles Tomàs. I am a freelancer graphic designer and illustrator working for a startup called TestGorrilla, and setting up my editorial studio.

I am a native of Valencia. I have lived in the UK for several years. I have worked for the music industry, the wine and spirits sector, and the charity sector.

I joined the Interaction Design Academy to expand my knowledge and job opportunities.

How about you? Let's talk about our sector, the present and up-and-coming struggles, what inspires us, etc.

I would love to hear about you and build a community of designers.

Hello designers

We will have a light agenda this time. 

  • Meet and greet: Who are the other group members?

  • Why are you interested in interaction design/user experience?

  • What is your job and what are your current challenges?

This first gathering aims to get to know each other and use this space to create connections and community. 

We can then set up our next meetup agenda. For example:

  • How can we help each other out with these challenges?

  • What do you hope to get out of this Local Group?

  • How can we help each other in strengthening the local community of UX/IXD designers?

  • What are the next steps; what should our next meetup be about?

I hope to see many of you on Saturday!

Today is the day. I’ll be heading to the Mas a bit earlier to grab a table.

I will hand write IxDF Meet-up in an A4 and place it on the table.

PS. I speak English, Spanish and Valencian. We can agree there what language to use depending on your preferences.
