Hi IxDF Berlin,
Its been 2 weeks that we had our last meet-up on a sunny Saturday ☀️

There is another meetup/discussion being organised on coming Monday, 24th July at Mehringdamm 55, 10961 Berlin.
RSVP at the Eventbrite link

The discussion topic is about teaching UX Design. We invite everyone who is interested in Teaching or mentoring UX (Design, Research, DesignOps) to share their experience and participate in an option discussion. Afterwards we do some networking :)

You can contribute by participating in our discussions if you are:

1. UX teacher or mentor or has provided any form of UX education currently or previously (full time, part time or volunteering) OR
2. A leaner, student or even recent Alumni who are (or were) enrolled in any form of UX education (online, part time, full time)
3. HR or Hiring manager at any company who hired Junior or Mid level UX professionals in your company.

The Idea is to understand and explore the gaps in the current UX education, focusing eventually on employability. Share your experiences will contribute to the UX education space in general as we intend to post the insights, thus encouraging individuals and institutions in UX education to fill that gap.

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Discussion on teaching UX Design held on Jul 24, 2023. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hello,
just want to highlight a couple of errors in the Eventbrite page:
- the cover image has an incorrect date, Monday, 25th July;
- the event itself has been planned for Sunday, 23th of July.

See you there!
Thanks.

Have a nice evening!
Ric

Is it the norm to have the events on weekends? Hoping also for some weekday events after work - would be easier for me personally! Grateful you have organised an event regardless of the day! thank you!

Hello Alexandra,
as stated by the organizer on this page the event should be on Monday the 24th.
I just have reported the errors in the Eventbrite page.
Bye!

Please log in or join us to post comments in the discussion.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
