Sobre la charla

El diseño de ficciones (o diseño especulativo) es una disciplina del diseño en donde el pensamiento crítico y la provocación son el enfoque principal. A diferencia del pensamiento de diseño que busca resolver problemáticas de manera práctica y estética, el diseño de ficciones busca crear no solo cosas, sino ideas y discusiones.

Aquí el diseño es la vía para explorar cómo podría ser el mundo inventando futuros posibles, arraigados en las tendencias actuales y futuras. Lo que busca es explorar futuros más allá de la continuación mecánica de lo que hay hoy en día, haciéndonos sistemáticamente preguntas del tipo “¿Qué pasaría si…?” y apalancándose en las habilidades de storytelling propias del diseño.

En esta charla se dará una introducción al diseño de ficciones, su teoría, y su posición actual en la industria, desde el contenido multimedia hasta su aplicación en innovación y el día a día de las compañías de productos (especialmente digitales) modernas.
