Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Houston, let's meet up and network over coffee or tea or beer or whatever! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It's going to be an informal, cozy meet-up with fellow designers!

A note about myself: I am new to UX and would like to meet like-minded people with or without experience in UX design.

Another note: It looks like Houston's IxDF community isn't extremely active – let's change that!

I am so excited about this meet up! I am a student at Arizona State University -online studying Internet and Web Development. This was the closest degree plan to Interaction Design and I do love coding! What is/was everybody’s college major

Sorry for the late reply. I majored in graphic design and over five years realized it's not exactly my thing. UX designer seems a much better fit!

Looking forward to this meet up as well. It's great to know there are also graphic designers and web developers in this group. Many of us seem to be on the move. I studied Industrial design but I have been practicing graphic design for some time (primarily print and experiential). Over time, I found myself moving toward the digital, with a bit of an obsession... And I have been on a code-learning journey recently. So I will likely have a few questions for those of you who are learning or have experience with UX and UI design.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.
