ABOUT THIS CLASS
Time to get technical with your insights from user research and customer journey mapping. Don’t worry, though; there’s no coding here. All you need is a pen, paper, and a free Figma account.
This free, 2-hour session gives you hands-on practice with the first phases of prototyping: sketching and wireframing. From brainstorming and ideating, to sketching your ideas effectively, then learning the basics of navigating Figma to turn your sketches into digital wireframes, by the end of the session you’ll be confidently communicating design ideas.
Take it up a notch in our next session where you’ll get hands-on practice with MVPs & Clickable Prototypes in Figma so you can really start testing and iterating on your design. We’ll see you there.
TAKEAWAYS
Learn how to create quick, effective sketches that communicate your design choices to others.
Understand the difference between low-fidelity, mid-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Insight into what Figma is, why it’s important, and how to use it.
Hands-on practice building wireframes based on sketches.
PREPARATION
This is a beginner friendly series, so no prior knowledge is necessary.
Make sure you’re set up with a free Figma account if you plan to follow-along live. Keep in mind, this part is optional.
A recording of this session will be sent at the end of the full Skill Seeker series.
This session will be held in a Zoom webinar, so your mic and camera will be off. We’ll interact through the Chat, Q&A, and reactions.
This is a Co-hosted event. From time to time free virtual UX skillset workshops and UX tool workshops will be shared as events based your interest feedback.
This is a great opportunity to practice your learned IxDF skillsets in UX.
