Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss From High School Dropout to Design Head, Ben George, Head of Design, ReferralCandy held on Jan 13, 2021. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi Daylon ,

I note the words " high school dropout" with a smile .

In South Africa we had our 1st 11year old boy ( Clark King) join the IxDF platform and his main reason was that "they are totally bored with what schools teach these days" .

He then went on to become one of the 6 top commentators with E-Formula 1 commentators because of his new found digital UX skillset .

He now studies all the Robert Kiyosaki clips he can he his hands on . Expect many more "dropouts" as our digital skills become more sophisticated and based on what platforms such as the IxDF offer our global community.

As said before on this forum I think it is critical that members from eastern hemisphere groups (like this one) join more western hemisphere groups (New York has given an open invitation ) so we can start functioning as 1 development community .
