Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF San Jose, I just discovered this group and was impressed by how easy it was to propose this meetup, so I figured I’d give it a go! I work remotely for an Ed-tech company and always welcome an opportunity to meet up in person - I miss happy hour with coworkers! UX topics on my mind right now are more about career transition possibilities (interested in research), but figured this could just be an informal excuse to chat with fellow UX folks! I’ll be hanging out at San Pedro Square [will update this with a specific location/way to find meetup]. There’s coffee, food, and drinks - something for everyone, I hope you’ll swing by!

Hi everyone, hope you can make it tomorrow! I will be camped out near the “Three Sisters Bar” area of San Pedro Square, it’s the room connected to Voyager Coffee. I will put up some sort of little sign at my table. Feel free to swing by for as short or long as you like!

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
