I created this meet up to address the designers in Sacramento who may not be able to make those meet up meetings in San Francisco! I love San Francisco and will plan to attend at least one meetup there each month but this will help those who cannot travel there… What are your thoughts?? I am open to all ideas!

Hello fellow designers. I am the designer who created the Sacramento group. I was there earlier tonight for our first meeting. Where were you all? We are just getting started and it will take a few meetings to get going!

Any suggestions for our next meeting date? Looking forward to hearing from my fellow designers. I am taking classes and interview with Cisco tomorrow. Wish me luck! Where are each of you in your journey?

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
