Hey everyone, it doesn't look like there's been much activity in the IxDF Atlanta group recently, but maybe we can change that? I'm just getting into the world of UX and would like to network and get to know others in the Greater Atlanta area. I'm new to this, but figured why not go for it?

I hope the time I picked is late enough for people who have to work. I chose a start meeting too, if only to take the pressure off trying to fill a longer time. Just a quick introduction to get things started.

For the technical side, I'm thinking Skype? I've had more luck with that in general. I can create the call and post the link on the day.

Hey everyone, I REALLY hate to do this since I set it up and it's my first thing, but something came up today IRL and I'm not available this evening. Someone should take over and still do it though! And I'll try again soon, or join in if someone else does. Sorry again, but it's been such a long day

Since there has been a increase in new members and two meetups that have been arranged but unable to be kicked off I'll schedule one and set up the meetup. I will need a few days to make the arrangements. However we can support the new efforts. I'll post the new meetup ASAP an I appreciate the efforts you have tried to communicate Jeremiah.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
