Agenda for the meeting is:

  • 5:30-6 pm happy hour networking;
  • 6:00-7:00 pm workshop/discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss IDF Austin UX Meet-Up on May 24, 2018 held on May 24, 2018. Agenda:

-5:30 to 6:00 pm - Happy hour and casual networking
-6:00 to 6:15 pm - Introductions
-6:15 to 6:50 pm - A fun group activity using one of the UX methods, card sorting, for finalizing future IDF-Austin meetup sessions (guest speaker, networking, workshops, etc.)
-6:50 to 7:00 pm - Post-activity discussion and networking


Parking is available near Talos at Mexican American Cultural Center's parking @ standard

Hi, any idea how much parking is at the Mexican American Culture Center? I had to pay $15 to park at an event this week when I couldn't find street parking.

it should be normal parking rates, $1.20/hour, could be a little bit more than that.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
