Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Birmingham, let's meet online for our first meet up of 2019! In our video call, let's get to know each other and share UX interests. Save the date, grab your laptop (or phone!), and let’s see each other online!

I thought a Skype video call would be best so I created a Skype Group for our meeting and for any other future online meetings. You will need a Skype account for this to work so if you do NOT have a Skype account please set one up closer to the time to avoid any unexpected technical faults on the day.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
