Hi IxDF Canberra.

We all know UX is great for websites and other digital spaces. But I’m also keen to connect with others who want to explore how Interaction Design can make an impact in the wider world of public-purpose programs & projects - whether government, policy & peak bodies and social initiatives.

So… to kick-off a sub-group chat, let’s meet online - MS Teams to start. If anyone in the existing IxDF Canberra crew have an alternative idea please let me know.

For now, perhaps in our video chat, we could grab a coffee, intro ourselves and map some ways that interaction design applies beyond digital for Canberra organisations.

Hi. For those participating in the IxDF CBR online meetup “IxD for public-purpose impact”, I’m still planning to (finally!) co-host the discussion for an hour on Friday morning this week - 10am, 6 Dec. Not sure what the groundrules are. Intending for it to be pretty casual with just a bit of structure. Hopefully the digi-tech all works. If needed, feel free to ping me on 0417-141716. Cheers, John
