Meetup Details

Hi IxDF Irvine (California), let’s meet online and practice to become EPIC UX Designers!

Meetups: Second Tuesday of each month
Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST

The goal of this chapter is to not have another meetup where we sit around and listen to others speak. (Nothing wrong with that) :)

We are here to practice what we've learned from the IDF courses and put ourselves out there and sharpen our skills. DON'T worry, a lot of us are beginners or just got out of bootcamp. We are not all UX ninjas. (Yet)

We are going to shake things up a bit. This IDF chapter is all about practice, practice, practice! To become epic at anything one must practice day in and day out.

Yes, we will have speakers every once in awhile but we are going to be fully engaged and really get down to the core aspects of UX design.

Here's a list of the things we will be doing:
- Quick sketches (Lots of it)
- Mini/quick design challenges
+ Designercize
+ Sharpen.Design
- Brainstorming sessions
- UX Trivia
+ UX Companion App
- Share resources, job opportunities, tools and processes

Please do not be intimidated by this post or this chapter. We are here to push each other to become the best designer we know we can be.
