Luís Fernandes - Information Architect / Researcher / Teacher

Título - Enhancing the Learner Experience

Doutorando no programa de Digital Media (UT Austin|Portugal) pela FCSH/Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. É bolseiro de investigação do CITI - Centro de Investigação para Tecnologias Interactivas desde 2013, onde colabora como arquiteto de informação nos diversos projetos, lecionando ainda a unidade de Arquitetura da Informação em ciclos de estudos pós-graduados.

Licenciado em Comunicação e Design Multimédia, freelancer e formador das mais diversas áreas, há mais de 15 anos, foi depois de ter passado pela Terra das Ideias, onde colaborou como Web Designer e Motion Designer (2007-2009) que se apaixonou definitivamente pelo Design de Interação e pela conceptualização e desenvolvimento de interfaces pedagógicas.

Atualmente centra a sua investigação no aperfeiçoamento de um modelo dinâmico de manuais escolares digitais, bem como na análise da interação do aprendente com sistemas de e-learning.

Mônica Dioconde - UX Expert at SyndicateRoom

Título: Digital experience mapping

Mônica tem trabalhado como especialista de UX desde 2008, tem diploma de Design Gráfico e cursou também especialização em Design Centrado no Utilizador. Atualmente, trabalha em uma startup de investimentos e ao longo de sua carreira já teve experiência em diversas indústrias incluindo e-commerce, serviços bancários digitais, jogos, sites educacionais e imprensa.

Nascida em Curitiba - Brasil, mudou-se para Lisboa em 2015. Fora do mundo de UX suas paixões são seu marido, seus gatos, viajar e cozinhar comida vegetariana.

David Cruz - Co-founder & responsible for Ux at Minuscode

Título - WCAG para designers e copywriters

Co-fundador e responsável de ‘User Experience’ na Minuscode, com 7 anos de experiência na área, e tutor de UX na EDIT. Formado em Eng. Informática, pela FCUL, onde contribuí nos grupos de investigação em HCI, Sistemas de Pesquisa e Processamento de língua portuguesa.

Foi com a entrada, em 2009, para o Arquivo.pt, que enveredou na área de UX. Após uma formação com o Nielson Norman.

Em 2013, entrou para o SAPO, detentor da melhor equipa de usabilidade do país, até à saída, em 2016, para a Minuscode.

Ricardo Luiz - Ux Lead at Outsystems

Apaixonado pelas ciências cognitivas e intrigado pelo comportamento do ser humano, procura perceber como as pessoas pensam e o que as leva a agir.

A seu entusiasmo pela tecnologia e pela mente, levaram-no a entrar no mundo da Interacção homem máquina.

Tenta ajudar empresas a desenharem melhor os seus processos e sistemas com recurso à tecnologia, tendo como mote tornar a vida dos utilizadores melhor e mais fácil.

Neste momento anda curioso por perceber o potencial do uso da Realidade Aumentada e da nanotecnologia no nosso quotidiano.

Our guest speakers are

Luís Fernandes - Information Architect / Researcher / Teacher

Title - Enhancing the Learner Experience

Doctorate in the program of Digital Media (UT Austin | Portugal) by FCSH / Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.

He is a Research Fellow at CITI - Research Center for Interactive Technologies since 2013, where he collaborates as an information architect in several projects, teaching the Information Architecture unit in postgraduate study cycles.

Graduated in Communication and Multimedia Design, freelance and trainer of the most diverse areas, for more than 15 years, it was after having passed through Terra das Ideias, where he collaborated as Web Designer and Motion Designer (2007-2009) who fell in love with Design Interaction and the conceptualization and development of pedagogical interfaces.

He is currently focusing his research on perfecting a dynamic model of digital textbooks as well as analyzing the learner's interaction with e-learning systems.

Mônica Dioconde - UX Expert at SyndicateRoom

She has been working as a UX Specialist since 2008, has a degree in Graphic Design and is certified as a User Experience Design Specialist. Monica currently works in a fintech startup and over the course of her career, she has designed several digital service interfaces in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, online banking, gaming, educational websites and press.

Originally from Curitiba, Brazil, Monica moved to Lisbon in 2015. Outside the UX world, her loves are her husband, her two cats, travelling and cooking vegetarian dishes

David Cruz

Title -WCAG for designers and copywriters

Co-founder and User Experience lead at Minuscode. David has 7 years of expertise in UX and teaches about UX Design at EDIT.

David completed a MSc on Informatics Engineering at "Faculdade de Ciência da Universidade de Lisboa", where he contributed to the HCI, Search systems and Natural Language Processing research groups.

With his arrival, in 2009, to the Portuguese Web Archive, he started to specialize in the User Experience field and received training from Nielsen Norman.

In 2013, he became a member of SAPO's usability team, one of the best teams in Portugal, until 2016, when he devoted fully to Minuscode.

Ricardo Luiz

Title- Engage with people, the art of storytelling

Passionate about the cognitive sciences and intrigued by the behavior of the human being, he tries to perceive how people think and what causes them to act.

His enthusiasm for technology and the human mind led him into the world of Human Computer Interaction.

Tries to help companies better design their processes and systems using technology, with the aim of making the lives of users better and easier.

At this moment he is curious to realize what benefits may come from the use of Augmented Reality and nanotechnology in our daily lives.
