Sílvia Otto Sequeira

Trabalha como Senior User Experience Designer na OutSystems, onde desenha aplicações para todo o tipo de indústrias a operar nos mais variados mercados. Não há um dia igual ao outro. Antes disso, trabalhou em Publicidade e em diversos meios de comunicação, mas apaixonou-se pelo mundo digital em empresas como a GuestCentric e o SAPO.

Tema – UX para além do ecrã/De que forma estão os novos interfaces a obrigar-nos a pensar para além do ecrã e a ter em conta também o espaço físico. E o que tem isto a ver com o contexto de utilização? Como aplicamos princípios de Design ao mundo físico? Estaremos prontos para isso?


Miguel Baptista

A introdução no mundo do motion design é dado no decorrer do seu mestrado da faculdade. É marcado sobretudo pela produção de efeitos visuais experimentais e animações de grafismos para projetos ligados à música, tais como live VJing, espetáculos de música ao vivo e projection mapping. Após ter concluído a dissertação na mesma área, soube de imediato que queria perseguir a carreira de motion designer, explorando mais áreas em que o motion design se insere.

De momento é motion designer na empresa Hi INTERACTIVE, onde executa principalmente trabalho de animação e edição de vídeo, tendo já trabalhado para clientes como — OutSystems, Accenture, EDIT., Novabase, José de Mello Saúde, British Hospital, Llorente Cuenca, Os Azeitonas — e na produção de conteúdos motion de vários eventos — Productized, ClickSummit, UXSpain, UXLive e Interaction17 da IxDA.

Tema - A importância e objetivo do motion design ao longo da história. A talk terá como foco principal, dar a conhecer o que é o motion design, qual o seu papel e objetivo. Será também uma viagem desde o aparecimento daquilo que se pode considerar a disciplina de motion design, passando pela aplicação e o valor que o motion tem nos dias de hoje, referenciando alguns casos concretos e algumas previsões para o futuro desta mesma área.

Sílvia Otto Sequeira

Working as Senior User Experience Designer at OutSystems, Sílvia designs applications for multiple types of industries operating regionally or worldwide. There’s no day like the other. Prior to that, she worked in Advertising and Publishing, but then turned to the digital world in companies like GuestCentric or SAPO.

Topic – UX beyond the screen/How the new interfaces are demanding us to think outside the screen and consider both the digital and the physical spaces. How is this more than user context? How to apply Design principles to the physical world? Are we ready for that?


Miguel Baptista

He started in the motion design world during he’s master’s degree by producing experimental visual effects and motion graphics for musical projects such as live VJing, music shows and projection mapping. After finishing his master dissertation in the same field, he knew that we wanted to persue a career as a motion designer, exploring every area where motion design.

At the moment, he works for a company called Hi INTERTACTIVE as a motion designer, where he does mostly animation and video editing projects for clients such as OutSystems, Accenture, EDIT., Novabase, José de Mello Saúde, British Hospital, Llorente Cuenca, Os Azeitonas — and also producing motion graphics content for several events like Productized, ClickSummit, UXSpain, UXLive and Interaction17 of IxDA.

Topic -The role and importance of motion design throughout history. The talk’s main focus is about getting to know what motion design really is. It will be discussed the applications of motion design since it began to be an area of design communication, presenting examples of nowadays uses of motion design and some predictions for the future in the same field.
