Local Groups will expand your career network—whether you are interested in learning new skills, finding job opportunities or looking for a new employee.
A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

We would like to invite you on the 9th of May to be part of the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) local community's Meet-n-Greet event. The event's objective is to introduce everyone to each other and to listen to challenges, ideas and opportunities to establish a functioning community under the IxDF banner. We want to host a platform where likeminded people can think and deliver ways to making this community real.

A major part of the effort in the future will be in sharing some lessons learned from IxDF and from everyone's professional experiences. All to eventually help in enabling UX professionals to play their part in shaping the future of industries and local communities.

Subsequent local events and mini 'community establishment' projects to will be driven mostly by this chapter's members.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
