Experiencias e interacciones en Voice Design: Experimentando con interfaces intangibles

A medida que nos internamos en la tercera ola tecnológica, las "Voice User Interfaces (VUI)" son cada día más habituales en nuestro entorno, siendo parte de lo que se entiende como Ubiquitous Computing (Ubicomp). Las usamos con el navegador del auto, con los asistentes del móvil e incluso con dispositivos como Apple HomePod, Echo o Google Home, significando una nueva etapa en la evolución de las inteligencias artificiales, el machine learning y los avances en el procesamiento del lenguaje natural, logrando llegar a ganarse un espacio importante en nuestras vidas.

En el Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) y Movistar Chileentendemos el reto que significa el integrarlos en la vida de las personas, humanizar sus funciones y adaptarlos a las diferentes formas de interacción. Por este motivo, hemos convocado a Daniel Castillo, Consultor UX en Multiplica, donde se ha enfrentado a la problemática de cómo integrar los comandos de voz en la experiencia de usuario. El simple hecho de que ésta tecnología se encuentra todavía en un estadio inicial, dificultando las conversaciones en tiempo real, es algo muy interesante de explorar y exponer frente a la comunidad.

Esperamos que esta sesión, la Nº 40 de IxDF en Chile, sirva para abrir los horizontes de la disciplina, expandir criterios y fomentar el intercambio de experiencias en el área de interacción ubicua e intangible.
