En este Local Meeting #42 contaremos con una exposición de Diego Correa Tristain, CEO & Founder @Ikkuna, docente de la UAI y la UDD, quien nos presentará su investigación realizado el 2016 en el FabLab UAI; Optimization-Driven Creativity for Industrial Design.

El uso de técnicas para la coordinación del diseño y fabricación asistidos por computadora (CAD/CAM), conforma la familia de objetos posibles en base a un set de reglas, su diseño y optimización. Con métodos provenientes de la informática es posible hacer pruebas del diseño de prototipos antes que los errores o correcciones tengan que implementarse y reduciendo tiempos de entrega e implementación y uso de factores productivos en los laboratorios de fabricación digital (FABLAB).

Como en todos los encuentros mensuales del Interaction Design Foundation Chile y Movistar, conversaremos con el docente sobre casos prácticos en donde la creatividad y optimización industrial se expresan bajo la misma técnica.

Esperamos que esta sesión, la Nº 42 de IxDF en Chile, sirva para abrir los horizontes de la disciplina, expandir criterios y fomentar el intercambio de experiencias en el área de interacción ubicua e intangible, tanto en productos como servicios.
