Meetup Details

IxDF Seattle: This Friday, Feb. 3, Tech Fleet is hosting a meetup for UXers at Embassy Suites (very close to Southcenter Mall, 6 minutes from Tukwila Station). We’ve rented a suite to provide a networking space to chill and talk. Both IxDF members and non-members are welcome!

A couple of the Tech Fleet founders (Morgan Denner is driving up from Portland, and I’m driving down from Whidbey Island) will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about Tech Fleet, or we can just chat about UX. It’s going to be an informal, cozy meetup with fellow designers! Please RSVP with me at jah32@alumni.psu.edu or via LinkedIn.

UPDATE: We’ve moved the location to the lobby of the hotel. Look for me: I’ll be wearing a crimson sweater.

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss IxDF Seattle Meets Tech Fleet: A free UX Apprenticeship Program held on Feb 3, 2023. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, or anything else.
In terms of the agenda, we’re going to keep this pretty free-form. People will likely filter in when they can so there won’t be any formal presentations or talks. The Tech Fleet founders that are in attendance will talk to everyone about whatever they’d like to discuss, whether that be Tech Fleet’s apprenticeship program, whats it’s like to form a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) with blockchain governance, web3, UX, or whatever else you’d like to talk about.

Coffee will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own tumbler/mug for sustainability.
