Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Washington,

We're a talented and driven group of amazing designers in an interesting context and I think we have a great opportunity to add a unique boost to our experience and portfolios.

I'm here to propose and coordinate a Remote IxDF D.C. "Summer of Design" / Design Jam. This will be a project-based way for participants of all skill levels to grow their experience and possibly add a new "Adverse Circumstances" badge to their sash.

This first meeting are simply to capture interest, commitment, timeline, and generally get ideas as to how we can all pursue this successfully.

We will hold them on Tuesday and Thursday evening of next week. 06/23 06/25. If you cannot make these dates yet you would like to participate in project based work for the summer please reach out in this forum or on slack (email me for an invite mattburgess.idf@gmail.com).

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
