In partnership with Squiz, Inspire Group are excited to present "Join the Learning Democracy".

We are a quirky bunch of learning professionals passionate about learning, technology and the future.

As learning professionals, we tend to see the world through the prism of learning, and we want to enable everyone to join the learning democracy, to share their skills, their passions, etc.

During this 90-minute interactive workshop we will introduce you to Chameleon. Chameleon is an authoring tool, created by Inspire Group that allows individuals and organisations to rapidly build beautiful HTML5 content.

This workshop is ideal for learning professionals, instructional designers, friends of learning and also those who want and need to produce beautiful content quickly and easily..... there is no requirement for any development expertise (Chameleon takes care of all the heavy lifting).

In this workshop we will cover:

A brief history of eLearning development - specifically with responsive design in mind

Our simple learning design principles

The "pleasant surprise" story behind Chameleon

The tech under the hood of Chameleon

A 101 fundamentals session on how to use Chameleon

A guided workshop with the Chameleon product team to build your own content

As an added bonus we will give you a trial Chameleon account so you can have a play with the platform following the workshop.

This will be an interactive workshop so please ensure you bring your laptops so you can join in on the fun. We will provide the Wi-Fi :)

Spots are limited… book now to save your seat.

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all!

I'm a Learning Consultant working at Squiz, a digital transformation agency, and we have organised a great event with our friends at Inspire Group. In this event we'll talk a little about learning design principles and introduce a tool that allows people with no UX experience to create a great product by using built-in graphic and UX principles.

Please use this discussion thread to discuss Join the Learning Democracy held on Oct 3, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Please log in or join us to post comments in the discussion.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
