Julie Francis is a UX/CX Researcher & Strategist with deep expertise in journey mapping and strategic research. Through her boutique consultancy, BellaVia Research, she helps clients—including Meta, Google, Spotify, and The Gap—with strategy, roadmap prioritization, and innovation. She frequently partners with in-house research teams, leading journey mapping engagements and helping teams elevate their skills.

Julie also specializes in strategic and foundational UX research, helping organizations develop actionable JTBD frameworks and personas that create lasting impact. She teaches professionals how to maximize the effectiveness of their journey maps through workshops on Maven, Udemy, and private corporate training.

Before returning to independent consulting, Julie spent five years at Meta, where she was the Lead Virtual Reality Researcher for Reality Labs.
