Hi IxDF Portland! Let's meet up and network for Happy Hour! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing. It's going to be an informal meetup with fellow designers.

Agenda is simple moving forward since we want to start focusing our energy on upcoming group projects:

  • Meet and greet
  • IxDF Portland updates and plans:
    - We're currently gathering a team for a group project that will be the structured for a non-credit certificate course curriculum. Please express your interest and join our Slack channel #osu-lxd-cert.
  • General discussion:
    - Bring up topics/ideas/road blocks you would like to discuss.
    - Books and articles your reading.

Meet-up location: Rontoms
We'll meet in the outdoor area unless its raining.

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
