Meetup Details

Hi IxDF Pretoria, let's meet up and network! We will use this meet up as another Lean Coffee session where we will interact with sticky notes to talk about a topic. In this meet up, we will talk around the topic of Sustainable Interaction Design, a term coined by professor Eli Blevis. You do not have to read up on the term, you can simply come to the meet up and we will discuss the role of UX designers in a sustainable world.

Hi Everyone! The venue has been confirmed for Thursday - we will be meeting in the C2 Hall, it is in the main building, upstairs (At the Open Window Institute). Here is my cellphone number in case you cannot find us - 079 352 6786. See you all soon!

Good evening everyone, thank you for the wonderful and insightful session we had tonight. We went out of our comfort zone to try a digitised method of sticky notes - something we weren't quite sure was going to work until we tried it and ended up saving resources, being more efficient and clutter free! We really explored the topic thoroughly, opened up our minds, learnt new things and concluded quite nicely - thank you to all the minds that contributed. I look forward to seeing everybody again at the next one! See link to our board of discussions

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
