A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

Founders Friday is a new tech, creative and digital networking event being held on the last Friday of each month at Futurelabs.

Join us on the 27th of January from 5.30 pm.

Come along and hear from 3 or 4 interesting digital focused speakers (5 minutes each) and meet like minded people and decision makers from tech, creative and digital businesses. Founders Friday is an informal meet up for Leeds based, passionate business owners and techies. We also welcome aspiring tech founders to come along and talk about their ideas.

There’s free beer and refreshments, so make sure to join us from 5.30 onwards, when we kick off at 6pm.

Founders Friday has also teamed up with Leeds Digital Drinks – so at 7pm the party continues at one of Leeds' many fantastic local bars we can network with the Leeds Digital Drinks crowd.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
