Meet-Up Conversation

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Let's discuss the UX scene here in Manila! What softwares do you use? How do you implement UX to your work? held on Jan 7, 2019. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Game for this.

Me personally, I use Figma a lot, flexible in terms of sharing to clients, and I'm using it for pretty much everything- wireframes, brainstrorming sessions, stylescapes etc.

I am new to the industry, and at first, I tried to incorporate the product UX Design at first in the web design process we have, but in an agency, we are required to do things fast. As much as possible, we try to get everything in one brand strategy session (we follow the Core framework by The Futur). Basically, it means that everyone on the client side can have an input as to how their customers think, feel, and also about the company.

Hey everyone! Sounds like a plan. Talk to you on

We primarily use Sketch + Invision basically for everything - from sketching concepts down to design handover to the developers. :)

Will this push through? Thanks!

Hey guys, is there a Skype link where we will have the meet-up?

Hey guys! I use Sketch (prototyping) + Invision (interactive UI mockup) + Overflow (UI flow) :)

Hello all!

Early Stage: Pen and Paper (for the architecture team to have a clear picture for the back end while I am working on the details)

Adobe XD works well for me. Specially it's publishing feature, works well with other adobe products)

I still use the good old google docs for documentation, studies, personas, flows

JIRA for Task management

I am using my Empathy :) because it's timeless and will never be outdated.

:D

Guys you can join my group here https://www.facebook.com/designsprintmanila otherwise if you can suggest other channels where we could collaborate and schedule meetups.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
