Meet-Up Details

Hey IxDF Cambridge!

On the new wave trying to revive this group, Clara and I thought it would be fun to organize an informal meet-up for next Thursday!

The plan is to meet in Cambridge around 6.30pm for a drink after work. The location is still to be defined, so let us know if you have any suggestions. Maybe the city center area could the best for everyone?

Even thought this group is reserved to the IxDF members I think the meet up should be open to anyone interested, so feel free to bring your friends/partners/pets.

I think this will be a great chance to have a chat and get to know each other!

Ok, maybe we could meet up in the Free Press pub? https://www.freepresscambridge.com/ I am sure if the Cambridge team will want & also grow - we can arrange with Hot Numbers meetup after opening hours...Also we could spread the news about the IDF & we could collaborate with other UXLovers..that are in the area..Anyway, good stuff it is your choice Francesca :) Say where and I will meet you there.. Wow! Great suggestion, I've never been to the Free Press, but seems a good chance to try it out! I will call to book a table to avoid any problems with space and add it to the event details so everyone is aware.

Yes, when we'll be a bit bigger we could actually reserve the Hot Numbers and maybe even organize some talks! It would be great :)

Meet-up attendees

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
