Earlier this month I took over the local lead role for IxDF @Stuttgart. Special thanks to Saskia for her efforts during the last years and the great handover!

Updates

  1. I just created an IxDF local LinkedIn Group for easier online networking and coordination of (live) events - be the first to say hello :).

Upcoming

  1. Curently, I am talking to UX fellows from the German UPA and the CareerFoundry to connect the local groups in Stuttgart. I will share an update soon.

  2. I will use the LinkedIn Group to share little polls with you. This will help me better understand what you are looking for and tailor the offerings accordingly (e.g. informal get together, expert talks, peer coaching, mentoring …).

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
