Adventures in No-man's Land

Ben Nargi

Hosted by

Ben Nargi

Keeping this one light - maybe a little low calorie, but fun!

This meetup will be a quick show-and-tell war story that will remark on:
- Devising a UX strategy; how to pitch, adjust and roll with the punches
- Implementing your solution in unenviable conditions
- Using proxies when end-users aren't available
- Transitioning beyond the original, intended use case

We'll also talk about future plans for 2021, a possible rebrand, and other ways we can make this group useful to you.

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Next ABQ UX Meeting Dec 9, 6:30P held on Dec 9, 2020. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Ben organizes the Meetup group and Slack channel. I just help out by posting the meetings here on IxDF. There's plenty of time to chat and get to know people in the area. Joining the Slack channel also is a good way to connect with locals!

Hello! The title of the event says 6:30P but the Time field says 6:30am. Which one is correct? Is the correct time zone listed (UTC)?

Sorry, I didn't get notified that you replied. It's definitely PM.

Fixed. Thanks for pointing that out. IxDF needs some work on their form :-)

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
