NUX Leeds – 26 February 2018 – What happens after we die?
Meet-Up Details
The next NUX Leeds event is taking place on Monday 26th February at our new home of NUX Leeds: Platform, New Station St, Leeds LS1 4JB.
NUX Leeds events are sponsored by Hippo Digital.
Join us from 6:00pm for food, drinks and networking. Talk starts at 6:30pm.
This month we welcome user researcher Mark Branigan to tell us all about designing within the funeral service.
What happens after we die?
Mark will be discussing why he wanted to work in the funeral sector, what goes into planning a funeral and how his team went about designing a digital service to give funeral directors more time to spend with bereaved people. He’ll look at context, research methods, how this fed into design iterations and discuss what’s next in the funeral industry. It’s a fascinating, multi-faceted subject and there’ll be plenty of time for any questions you have too!
About Mark
Mark is a user researcher, occasional guitar player and trainee dad based in Leeds. When he’s not playing your favorite tune badly he’s obsessed with how people deal with important life events, what support and guidance they need and how to improve the processes they go through. He’s worked with well-known organisations including GDS, NHS and Coop Funeralcare.
