What are Local Groups?
Local Groups will expand your career network—whether you are interested in learning new skills, finding job opportunities or looking for a new employee.
A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

Following the success of IxDF Dublin’s first meeting, IxDF Dublin now plans a second meeting. A small amount of preparation is required for this meeting. You are invited to analyseRyanair’s new website using Don Norman’s Design principles.

Participants will be given a small amount of time to present their findings and can do so with what ever medium and in what ever format they please (tablet, laptop, phone, pdf, paper, audio recordings etc.)

NB: This is meant to be a fun exercise to help us all learn so don’t feel under any pressure to perfect anything. If you can even find one thing about the website you found interesting that is enough!

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
