Meet-Up Details

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know there is a UX Methods kick off coming up. Below you can find the link to the meetup and the description.

On January 31st, 2018, STL UX Methods will host our first Meetup! This Meetup will follow our format of keynote, workshop, and networking. Our keynote speaker will be author Brad Nunnally, the workshop will cover Design Thinking, and there will be snacks and refreshments provided for our open networking session.

Here is some information about Brad:

Brad Nunnally is a User Experience Designer out of St. Louis, MO. He regularly speaks on research methods, design techniques, and strategy. For the last decade, his work has included research, modeling, design, and testing. Over the course of his career, he has helped clients in the financial, healthcare management, public utilities, and pharmaceutical management industries identify user needs and develop engaging experiences based on those needs.

The Design Thinking workshop will be facilitated by the HLK UX Team, and will provide you with practical knowledge you can take back to your own organization and use in your own practice. You do not need to bring anything special to participate - only an open mind and a willingness to grow.

We are looking forward to hosting this first Meetup of many, and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Sounds like a great event! Thanks for posting it.

Hi . Apologies for the layman questions. Would appreciate a bit more of an overview on the topic and the agenda. I am assuming the venue is the hlk office at

1141 South 7th Street

Saint Louis, MO 63104

Dang, I'm at a conference the whole week. Please keep me in the loop about future get togethers!

I had planned to attend tonight, but have a family medical emergency that has arisen. Would love to find out how the presentation is received and what the STL community plans to do next around UX methods.

Please log in or join us to post comments in the discussion.

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
