Greetings, IXDF Chicago designers! We're excited to announce a unique and cozy meetup event that's guaranteed to inspire your creative minds. Join fellow design enthusiasts for an evening of artistic exploration at the Salvador Dalí exhibition, followed by engaging downtown talks)))
This exceptional exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago is the first to focus on the enigmatic Spanish Surrealist, showcasing over 30 of his captivating paintings, drawings, photographs, and surrealist objects. The exhibit also features a diverse range of printed matter, books, and artist ephemera, offering an in-depth look at Dalí's work during a critical period marked by his desire for both visibility and anonymity.
We'll be gathering on Thursday, May 18th, during the museum's free hours (5-8 p.m.). Our adventure begins at 5 p.m., as we stroll through the captivating exhibition, immersing ourselves in Dalí's surreal world. Afterward, we'll unwind at a nearby venue for a delightful picnic, two share our thoughts and impressions over refreshing drinks, snacks and informal talks.
As designers, exploring different avenues of creativity is crucial for our growth and development. By attending this event, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in Dalí's surrealism, which challenges conventional perceptions and encourages us to think outside the box. This experience will provide a fresh perspective, fostering innovation and inspiring new ideas that you can apply to your own design projects.
Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to connect with fellow IXDF Chicago members, enhance your creative abilities, and delve into the fascinating world of Salvador Dalí. We hope to see you there!
