πŸ“Œ tech.fast: The Good, the Bad, and the Insecure UX

Niclas Kjellin will discuss the importance of security and user experience and their roles in creating user-friendly and secure applications. This talk will explore the delicate balance between optimizing user flow and mitigating security risks. Through examples, we will explore how ease of use can compromise security, similar to complex and sometimes illogical solutions. By leveraging principles of human psychology, like users' tendency to favor convenience over security, designers can anticipate potential vulnerabilities and design accordingly.
Understanding secure UX strategies will enable you to protect and engage your users in their security behavior.

About Niclas Kjellin πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Apart from running a modern cybersecurity company, Niclas has, for the past twenty years, helped companies build highly secure and accessible systems to defend against ever-evolving threats and user misuse. He has been involved with projects ranging from replacing physical keys with digital alternatives and designing high-security MFA solutions to securing health records in the cloud and solutions for biometric verification through zero-knowledge. Niclas is also a frequent event speaker, writes security-related articles and posts, educates anyone willing to listen on security topics, and, as a hoppy, guesses their passwords.

See you then 😊
