About the Speaker:
Nicole is a UI/UX designer, educator, and perpetual learner who thrives at the intersection of creativity and curiosity. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Design, her research explores how gamification and playful design can transform environmental science education into immersive digital experiences for young learners. As an interaction design lecturer at the post-secondary level, Nicole is passionate about breaking down barriers through accessible design education, with the goal to help turn ideas into human-centred solutions that push boundaries, embrace possibility, and make a tangible, real-world difference.
