Meet-Up Details

To build a successful product, a good idea and a skilled team are not enough. You also need to validate your product ideas with your target market. In this webinar, Marieke McCloskey, Director of Research at UserTesting, will share advice on how to build products that people love by spending time in the product discovery phase understanding who your users are, what they need, and how they might use and react to your product. Marieke will share fast and practical ways to understand your customers and validate design concepts through remote research. She’ll also cover the impact of getting early feedback on product ideas and then continuously testing your prototypes.

You'll learn:

  • The importance of spending time getting to know the people you want using your product
  • Lessons from studies Marieke and her team have run
  • Practical ways for your team to do this research, even without any professional research experience

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
