Oh I'm really sorry I didn't see this. I'll have to Organize in zoom from now on. It was my first time using “Google meetings”. I'll definitely Organize another meeting in a few weeks and we can chat about portfolios and whatever topic is chosen.

I'll give you a synopsis of the meeting:

  • Daniel who leads a team of designers discussed portfolios with me as he looks through many of them within his job.

  • Peferably have your portfolio in a pdf format or design your own portfolio website. Beware of copyright issues.

  • Mention you want to discuss your portfolio further in another meeting so they don't steel any ideas from your work.

  • Case studies and the research behind the project is essential within a portfolio. If it only displays cool looking ui projects, which is exhibited in many Behance pages, hiring managers will stop looking at them further.

    I'm sure you're aware of this as you have years of experience. I'd definitely look forward to another meetup another time.
