What are Local Groups?
Local Groups will expand your career network—whether you are interested in learning new skills, finding job opportunities or looking for a new employee.
A Local Group is a group of people who, like you, are passionate about design. Local Groups organize meetings to get inspired, have fun and learn from one another.

Meet-Up Details

Hi IxDF Utrecht! Our next meet-up will be dedicated to chat about UX research: why do we need that, how it can be done, how can research outcomes be translated in visual outputs, and how they can feed the design process.
Feel free to add in the comments any question or suggestion of related topics that you would like to cover in the meeting!

Meet-Up Discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss UX Research is not UX Design (but they are on friendly terms) held on Jun 17, 2021. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Last meetup it looked like the meeting details disappeared at the start time of the meetup. The meeting info will still be there in the list of meetups for this community. It is even better to put the meeting in your calendar either manually or using the link in the confirmation email.

I would be interested to learn how you plan your research from project initiation upto and including the describe phase (in design thinking terms). E.g. what is the first research you plan and what kinds of research methods do you prefer.

Hello! Please let me into the call.

*edit: Is anyone attending? I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes to be let into the call.

I’m waiting for someone to let me in as well

The link works now

Hi everyone, I am sorry we had some issues with the google account (i.e. I was logged on with the wrong account :-( ) we just started the meeting.

Thank you for the presentation. I really enjoyed the food for thought.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the interesting discussion - look forward to attend more UX Research-centered meetings!

Not sure if this page allows to attach materials, in case anyone has already done some research on that please share your outcomes :)

Cheers,

Viola

Meet-up attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meet-up by clicking “Attend this meet-up” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meet-ups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
