There is a tremendous amount of focus on systems thinking when discussing environmental change and sustainability. This messaging often ignores a vast majority of the population whose sole concern is to simply make it through the day and put food on the table. This talk explores a bottom-up focus to compliment our current tendency to intellectualize our very human problems.

Given the global pandemic, this year’s edition of IxDD will be a digital-first experience. We’ll continue to come together, but apart, through regional live stream events from around the world.
